Fear- How it can control you!!!

" What's up Mr. Graham, I have a question in regards to college and finical Aid. I am having a hard time try to find finical aid. i mean yeah, there is FAFSA.  I get straight A's in school and I am in multiple clubs. Why do financial aid increase every year? why do most college students drop out of college early? what need to be done about this? What can I do? This is the number one reason why most college students drop out of college by sophomore year and their grades decline because of all the jobs they have to pay for tuition. The American dream is tangible, but there is so much bullshit that comes along with it and , including a spot in college. not every one have the tools or help that other people have to find financial aid for college, everyone compete for scholarships and grants and only a hand full of people have the skills to get them. i think this a problem, we always hear in high school from our teachers "you have to go to college to be successful", how is that possible if tuition increase every year, most students cant afford college, most scholarship target  specific amount of people who qualify. what about the students who worked their best in high school, got good grades, did everything they were suppose to do, and still cant get the financial aid for college. 

Excuse my french, but that is bullshit, there should be something out there for kids who don't have the tools to pay for college. why should they have to work two or three jobs in college and be to tired to study or go to class that defeats the purpose of going to college. college should be fun and adventurous, you shouldn't have to work two or three jobs, not have time to study, being late for class, or not go out with friends because you have to work every morning, noon, or night. 

YEAH OK,  community college is a good  alternative to finishing school or getting your foot in door, but some student want to experience the whole college experience. having a roommate, leaving in dorm room, talking to different people, experiencing different culture, etc.

I'm writing this today because its been on my mind for a while and i want to know who fill the same way.......
